The Greater Salina Community Foundation’s Affiliate Program provides a mechanism to build local philanthropy across north central Kansas. Affiliates receive financial and administrative services, marketing support, on-going training, and technical assistance from GSCF staff.

Community foundation accepting grant applications

WASHINGTON, Kan.— The Washington County Community Foundation is now accepting applications for spring grants. Online applications are due Wednesday, April 1, 2020. Last spring, the community foundation granted the Fair Association funding to purchase new blow-molded chairs for events. Previously, if someone wanted to rent the facility and have nicer chairs, they would have to haul the chairs in from another location such as the firehouse or school. “The fair superintendents appreciate having more comfortable chairs to sit on while working at the fair,” said grantee Lori Huber.
