GSCF Affiliate Program

The Greater Salina Community Foundation’s Affiliate Program provides a mechanism to build local philanthropy across north central Kansas. Affiliates receive financial and administrative services, marketing support, on-going training, and technical assistance from GSCF staff.

Community foundation announces spring grant recipients

The Washington County Community Foundation recently awarded $13,105 in spring grants to 12 charitable community projects in Washington County. Grants were awarded from the Clifton Community Fund, Hanover Community Fund, Kansas Health Foundation Fund, Washington County Opportunity Fund and the Buckshot and Christine Buchanan Donor Advised Fund. The following organizations received funding: City of Hanover/Hanover Park PRIDE, $2,506.42 to build a handicap-accessible sidewalk at Vets Park.Morrowville Community Center, $1,548 for new chairs for the community center.Washington County Fair Association, $1,538 for new chairs for the Washington County Fairgrounds.City of Clifton-New Beautification Committee, $1,400 for new street signs for the city of Clifton.City of Greenleaf, $1,226 for restroom upgrades in City Park.KSDS,[...]

Community foundation announces Match Madness on May 7

The Washington County Community Foundation will host Match Madness, a county-wide giving day, on Tuesday, May 7, 2019. On this day, donations to any fund at the community foundation will be matched proportionally up to 50% from a match pool of $2,500.
