Community foundation accepting spring grant applications

WASHINGTON, Kan.—The Washington County Community Foundation is now accepting applications for spring grants. Online applications open Friday, February 1, and are due Monday, April 1, 2019.

Over $11,000 is available to charitable projects in Washington County through the following funds:

  • Washington County Opportunity Fund – available for projects that help fulfill the foundation’s mission to improve the quality of life in Washington County.
  • Hanover Community Fund – available for charitable projects that address the present and future needs of Hanover, Kansas.
  • Clifton Community Fund – available for charitable projects that address the present and future needs of Clifton, Kansas.

Grants are limited to communities in Washington County and will be awarded through a competitive application process. Nonprofit organizations, government and public entities, educational institutions and churches are encouraged to apply. Applications must be submitted online by 11:59 p.m. on April 1.
